Job Description:
Jack Laurie Group is seeking a skilled Floor Care Technician to join our team in Indianapolis. This position involves maintaining a variety of floor types in multiple locations across the city. The ideal candidate will have a couple of years of experience in floor care services, including Strip/Wax, Scrub/Recoat, Carpet Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, and operation of standard floor care equipment such as Swing Machines, Orbitals, Square Scrubs, portable extractors, and Truck mounted units.
Responsibilities:
- Perform floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, scrubbing, recoating, and deep cleaning of carpets and tiles.
- Utilize various floor care equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks.
- Adhere to a variable schedule that may include 2nd shifts and some weekends, depending on work demands.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and carry 75 pounds or more.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in floor care.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, including driving history.
- Valid Drivers License
- Familiarity with standard floor care practices and equipment.
