Position: Project Manager

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $50/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided)

• Support a Project Lead in coordinating project operations and managing workflows.
• Engage with experts on projects and manage community interactions.
• Host office hours and develop Q&A documentation once projects reach a steady state.
• Distribute project metrics emails, issue reminders or warnings, and nudge experts as needed.
• Respond to support tickets and conduct 1:1 expert follow-ups.
• Perform first-round data QA, often in collaboration with lead reviewers.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in project management, operations, or community coordination.
• Bonus: experience as an executive assistant, chief of staff, program manager, project manager, or teacher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for expert engagement, with the ability to structure communication for skimmability (e.g., clear CTA).
• Structured approach to quality control and documentation.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving problems.
• Experience with data annotation, especially in rubrics, is a strong plus.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
