Position Overview Shutterfly is on the hunt for a dynamic and driven Director, US Growth to drive growth for Snapfish US, thinking like a GM to deliver revenue and margin goals. The ideal candidate will combine ecommerce expertise, commercial acumen, marketing channel fluency and a scrappy, growth-oriented mindset to challenge assumptions and ensure every lever — site, channel, and product — works towards profitable growth.

The Director, US Growth will report to the VP, General Manager of Snapfish Global.

Key Responsibilities Accelerate Growth & Business Impact

  • Business Performance Leadership: Develop executable plans to drive revenue growth and deliver against aggressive financial targets. Optimize the business with a clear view of KPIs, performance levers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Accelerate Growth: Rapidly activate and optimize eCommerce growth levers by driving cross-functional execution and prioritization across performance marketing, CRM, product, and engineering. Operate with urgency, clear priorities, and a bias for action to deliver measurable business impact at pace.
  • Merchandising Partnership: Work with the Merch & P&P leads to define weekly and monthly trading plan aligned to revenue and margin goals. Influence merchandising decisions, hierarchies, pricing, and promotional calendars through data-driven recommendations.

Drive Site Testing, Insights, & Long-Term Growth

  • Experimentation & CRO: own the CRO/test pipeline across homepage, category, search, PDP, cart/checkout. Leverage data/analytics (conversion, funnel) & customer feedback to guide opportunities. Continuously push metrics with a customer-first bias.
  • Ecommerce Vision: build long-term ecommerce vision for across web and app including shopping experience, site content/digital merchandising, product discovery/navigation, and conversion optimization.

Own Competitive Insights, Data-Driven Growth & Team Leadership

  • Competitive Analysis: Lead ongoing analysis of the competitive landscape to identify trends, threats, and opportunities. Use insights to inform cross-functional priorities and long-term strategy.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics to inform business decisions and advocate for testing and experimentation across functions. Relentless focus on top opportunities to drive business performance, steering the team to deliver growth.
  • Team Management: Lead site merchandising team, and collaborate closely with key cross-functional stakeholders across merchandising, product, engineering, analytics, and marketing. Lead without authority to build trust and alignment with cross-functional teams that you do not directly manage.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 8 years in eCommerce or general management, ideally in matrixed or high-growth environments. Proven experience closely collaborating with marketing (performance, CRM) and product/engineering to drive performance outcomes.
  • Expertise: eCommerce expertise required. Deep understanding of digital commerce, CX, merchandising, marketing, and site operations. Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, and financial accumen.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Tools: Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, AB testing platforms, and BI tools like Power BI

The compensation package for this role is based on multiple factors, such as job level, responsibilities, location, and candidate experience. The base pay ranges included below are specific to the locations listed, and may not be applicable to other locations.

California : [$144,250 – Mid Range Zone 1]

Connecticut and New York: [$144,250 – $187,000]

Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota and Washington: [$144,250 – $173,250]

Nevada: [$135,500 – $187,000]

Maryland and New Jersey: [$155,750 – $187,000]

Hawaii : [$135,500 — $162,750]
