Client Overview Our company is working with a well-known client who is a growing organization seeking a motivated Purchasing Analyst to support procurement operations and ensure efficient purchasing processes. We value accuracy, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Salary/Hourly Rate $75k

Position Overview The Purchasing Analyst will be responsible for supporting day-to-day purchasing functions, analyzing procurement data, and maintaining accurate records. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for candidates who demonstrate strong skills and commitment.

Responsibilities Of The Purchasing Analyst

  • Analyze purchasing data to identify cost savings and efficiencies.
  • Create and maintain purchasing reports and spreadsheets in Excel.
  • Support procurement activities including purchase orders, vendor management, and contract tracking.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with company policies.

Required Experience/Skills for the Purchasing Analyst:

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work onsite full time.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Purchasing Analyst:

  • Experience with purchasing or procurement systems.
  • Background in supply chain or related field.
  • Prior experience in a corporate purchasing environment.
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
