About The Role The Client Services Representative at Presidio plays a crucial role in supporting the sales and customer service functions by creating accurate customer quotes and providing general assistance to Account Managers and clients. The role requires a strong familiarity with vendor product configuration tools, order-entry systems, and transactional processes, along with industry standards and norms. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Success in this position hinges on effective communication, organizational skills, and a technical affinity to understand and articulate product and service offerings. The ideal candidate will work independently and collaboratively, ensuring customer needs are met efficiently and accurately. This role involves regular interaction with Account Executives, customers, and sales colleagues, emphasizing the importance of clear communication and problem-solving skills. Travel requirements are minimal, with approximately 5% travel expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, including military service
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales support, preferably within a Technology Solution Integrator environment (Cisco preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-volume environment
  • Quick learner with a proactive attitude and adaptability to changing priorities
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel (intermediate to advanced skills)
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM platform
  • Desire to learn and maintain technical product knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to all incoming quote requests for products and attached services from assigned customers and account managers
  • Receive, validate, and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with business terms
  • Manage and expedite orders based on product availability and shipping schedules
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability, order status, invoicing, and billing
  • Coordinate and submit RMA requests with the RMA department as needed
  • Provide order status updates to outside sales teams and customers
  • Generate weekly status reports for designated accounts to monitor progress and performance
  • Verify and reconcile purchase orders against quotes to ensure order accuracy
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Cisco Commerce Workspace and other relevant tools
  • Work collaboratively with management to meet departmental goals and KPIs
  • Support other Customer Service Representatives when necessary
  • Ensure all customer POs are validated for accuracy and compliance with terms and conditions
  • Maintain detailed records of transactions and communications for audit and reporting purposes
