About the job:

We are seeking a seasoned Domain-Specific Application and Solution Architect with deep expertise in Lending and Cards to lead the design and alignment of business processes, application frameworks, and data models across our financial product lines. This is a strategic role that bridges technology and business, focused on driving effective solutions without requiring hands-on coding.

You will play a pivotal role in aligning technical capabilities with business goals, ensuring scalable and efficient architecture that support our lending and cards operations. Your deep domain expertise and collaborative approach will help shape our digital future.

What you will do at Sogeti:

Architectural Leadership:

• Develop and maintain high-level solution and data architectures specific to the lending and card services domain.

Business Process Mapping:

• Analyze, map, and document key business processes across lending and cards operations, identifying areas for optimization and digital transformation.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with business units, product owners, data teams, and technical stakeholders to align architectural direction and ensure holistic solutions.

Domain Expertise:

• Bring deep knowledge of lending and card products, associated business logic, regulatory requirements, and industry trends to influence architectural decisions.

Documentation & Governance:

• Create and maintain architectural artifacts including process diagrams, solution blueprints, and data flow documentation.

Solution Design:

• Translate business requirements into logical architecture designs that ensure flexibility, scalability, and resilience.

What you will bring:

• Proven experience as an Application Architect, Solution Architect, or Process Architect within the financial services industry, specifically in lending and cards.
• Strong understanding of core banking systems, lending lifecycle, card management platforms, and related business and data flows.
• Excellent skills in business process modeling and solution architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, BPMN).
• Ability to lead architectural discussions and guide stakeholders toward feasible and strategic solutions.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in consumer and commercial lending and credit card products.
• Outstanding communication and documentation skills with a collaborative and analytical mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with digital transformation initiatives in banking or fintech environments.
• Understanding of integration patterns, APIs, and data exchange across financial platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance, data lineage, and enterprise data architecture best practices.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
