Job Title: Technical Support

Location: Hybrid – must be onsite Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday in either Phoenix, AZ; Austin, TX; or Westlake, TX

Duration: 12 months

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable IT professional with strong leadership and technical problem-solving abilities. This role requires regular communication with technical teams, management, and end users.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate clearly with teams and document technical processes
  • Mentor team members and support cross-training efforts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting business operations
  • Deliver presentations and answer technical questions
  • Work independently and collaboratively
  • Prioritize and escalate issues appropriately
  • Perform well in a fast-paced environment

Required Skills:

  • Experience with Control-M (required)
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant technical experience
  • Familiar with: JES/SDSF, ISPF, JCL, CA-ESP, CA11, NAS
  • System administration experience with UNIX, LINUX, and Windows
  • File transfer tools: NDM, FTP, SFTP, PGP/FTP, NFS

Preferred Skills:

  • Problem solving and process improvement
  • SQL and database infrastructure knowledge
  • Network protocols and tools (SSL, LDAP)
  • Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop)
  • Virtual machines and database systems (Oracle, MS-SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
  • Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery understanding
  • Unix and Windows clusters
  • Ability to read/debug logs
  • Unix shell scripting and basic PERL knowledge
