💼 Position: Head of Business Development (North America)

Storm2’s client is building the next generation of global payments infrastructure.

For 70+ years, Visa and Mastercard have dominated with a closed, private network. Today, this client is rewriting the rules, using blockchain to create a compliant, fraud-free, and fully interoperable cross-border network.

They’ve already processed tens of millions of transactions with zero fraud, and are backed by some of the best-known VC firms.

Why this role & Why Now

  • Scale: 1.5B+ in network reach, 100M+ merchants, and 70M+ users via PayPay Japan.
  • Zero Fraud Advantage: Legacy credit cards run ~1.5% fraud rates, costing merchants 2–3% per transaction. This network has eliminated fraud entirely, opening the door for near-zero fee payments.
  • Stablecoin Innovation: Unlike Circle, they’re multi-currency stablecoin.
  • Geopolitical Edge: Blockchain removes reliance on single corporations or governments, ensuring payment continuity even in high-risk international scenarios.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead market expansion in NA
  • Drive engagement with target accounts and lead the full sales cycle
  • Build strong relationships with C-level execs, partners, and influencers
  • Position and sell their products and services around customer pain points
  • Lead complex B2B deals from the first conversation through close
  • Work hands-on in a fast-moving startup environment

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years in enterprise sales / BD (specific knowledge of credit cards, mobile payments, and cross-border payments)
  • Strong understanding of payment acceptance methods (QR, NFC, etc.)
  • Proven experience working with credit card networks such as Visa, MasterCard, and AMEX, and a deep understanding of the payment ecosystem
  • A true hunter with experience selling fintech / payments / OSS-BSS / blockchain to big enterprises
  • Track record of closing 7-figure+ deals and running long, complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Highly persuasive and skilled at building strong relationships
  • Willingness to travel internationally
