Marketing Assistant — Cybersecurity / Network Security (US-Based, Remote)

Our client, a rapidly growing cybersecurity company, is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support the execution of their go-to-market strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an early-stage, high-growth business and gain hands-on experience across all aspects of marketing.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn—bringing either direct experience or a strong understanding of cybersecurity / network security markets. Experience. working with other cybersecurity startups is highly desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation and distribution of marketing content, including blogs, case studies, presentations, and social media campaigns.
  • Assist in the execution of digital marketing programs (email campaigns, webinars, paid media, SEO, website updates).
  • Conduct market and competitive research to inform content and messaging strategies.
  • Help coordinate events, trade shows, and virtual conferences.
  • Collaborate with sales and product marketing to ensure collateral is up-to-date and aligned with go-to-market priorities.
  • Track, measure, and report on campaign performance to help optimize future initiatives.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all internal and external communications.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 1–3 years of marketing experience, ideally in cybersecurity, network security, DevOps, or enterprise technology.
  • Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and technical terminology.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with marketing tools (HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, or similar) is a plus.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
  • US-based; remote role with flexible working hours.
