Overview: We are seeking a skilled Back-End Engineer to join our Data Platform Team, focusing on enhancing our Operational Data Tool (ODS) to integrate with Snowflake and Oracle. This role involves developing scalable back-end data services using Java frameworks and working closely with cross-functional teams to solve design and architectural challenges.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Proven commercial experience with Java (5+ years).

Strong knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Lombok, JUnit, Swagger.

Experience with web technologies and architecture, including:

o Microservices

o Distributed cloud services (preferably Azure)

o Distributed data (Kafka, MQ, Spark)

o REST/GraphQL APIs

o Working knowledge of relational and in-memory databases: Oracle, Redis

BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

SQL proficiency.
