The Role

This Senior Lead Project Manager will serve as a key member within a United States Federal contract program management office (PMO) driving delivery of telecommunications services across multiple projects. This role is customer-facing and requires close collaboration with U.S. Government personnel, vendors and internal program stakeholders. This position will oversee the full lifecycle of project delivery from planning and implementation through operations ensuring compliance with program requirements, on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction.

This position is US based and may be in Virginia (preferred) or another CONUS location with some travel as required to support program activities.

The Main Responsibilities

  • 5+ years of project management experience supporting U.S. Government or large-scale telecommunications programs. PMP Certification is desired.

  • Lead planning, execution and delivery of assigned projects aligning with U.S. Federal contract requirements and PMO standards

  • Coordinate project activities with internal teams, subcontractors, and Government customers to ensure smooth implementation of services

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, risk registers, and communicate plans to track progress and mitigate risks.

  • Provide timely accurate project status updates, reports and deliverables to program leadership and customer stakeholders

  • Manage dependencies across multiple vendors and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes

  • Facilitate site access, testing schedules, and readiness review in coordination with customer field office and vendor teams.

  • Monitor and evaluate project performance against key metrics, proactively identifying areas for process improvement

  • Serve as a primary point of contact, engaging directly with customer representatives to assess satisfaction and resolve issues.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical field or equivalent US Government telecommunications industry experience.

  • 5+ years of telecommunications industry experience in a US Government environment.

  • PMP highly desirable

  • U.S. citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance

  • Strong organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills
