Senior Application Engineer

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in optical engineering , hands-on experience with silicon photonics device testing , and deep familiarity with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) — Advantest V93000 and SmarTest 8.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and optimize test solutions for silicon photonics products.
• Perform optical and electrical measurements using tools like OSAs, power meters, VNAs, and probe stations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to implement test strategies.
• Utilize ATE systems for high-volume, precision testing.
• Analyze test data using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 5+ years in semiconductor test engineering.
• Proven experience testing silicon photonics devices.
• Strong understanding of optical engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience with ATE systems such as Advantest V93000.
• Proficiency in Python , MATLAB, or other data analysis tools.

Bonus Skills:

• Electrical engineering knowledge.
• Excellent written communication and ability to work across language barriers.
• Associate’s degree in Electronics or equivalent experience.
