Description: Job Title: Full Stack Software Engineer (Java/React)

Location: Columbus,OH or P)lano TX ONLY (No Relocation)

Job Type – W2 (No C2C/C2H/No Third parties)

Duration: 2 year contracts, some people will convert but mostly contract

About the Role

Google is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with strong experience in Java and React-especially those who’ve built enterprise-grade applications and worked with cloud technologies. You’ll help design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that power products used by millions globally.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) and React

  • Develop cloud-native solutions optimized for performance and reliability

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and deliver features

  • Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and continuous integration

  • Contribute to technical strategy and mentor junior engineers

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • 4 years of experience in enterprise software development using Java and React

  • Experience building scalable web applications and APIs

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure)

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git, and agile development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services like Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with GraphQL, TypeScript, or other modern web technologies
  • Background in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.)

Tech Stack:

  • Java/React

Interviews: Interview Day, 1 and done, 30 mins.

Nice to have: Financial Services experience, Cloud Experience (But prefers large enterprise exp over Cloud Knowledge)

Additional Notes:

  • Looking for candidates who come from large, enterprise environments.
  • Does not want: Candidates from WF that were laid off/cut, not interested in previous government experience
  • Does not need to have SailPoint, oracle identity manager, etc. Not looking for IAM Tools, looking for Software Engineers who can build
