Detailed Job Description:

A highly skilled and experienced API Lead to drive the design, development, and implementation of HL7 FHIR based APIs for our healthcare interoperability platform.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in healthcare data standards , API architecture, and cloud native development, with a strong focus on delivering scalable and secure solutions.

Lead the end to end design and API development including FHIR APIs in compliance with HL7 standards.

Ensure interoperability with EHR systems, HIEs, and third party applications

Oversee API security, authentication OAuth2, SMART on FHIR, and compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

Guide and mentor a team of developers and integration specialists.

Qualifications

Bachelors or master s degree in computer science, Health Informatics, or related field.

Strong experience with HL7 FHIR R4 andor STU3, RESTful APIs, and healthcare data formats CCD, CCDA, HL7 v2.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Spring boot and Angular.

Knowledge of healthcare regulations CMS Interoperability Rule.

Experience with cloud platforms Azure.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
