We’re Hiring: Electron Node.js Developer (Onsite — Des Moines, IA)

Duration: 6-12 months

Location: Des Moines, IA (Onsite from Day 1 — No Remote)

We’re looking for a talented Electron Node.js Developer with a passion for building modern desktop applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work onsite with a leading client on cutting-edge tech.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop desktop applications using Electron Framework

  • Integrate backend services using Node.js , and UI using React , CSS

  • Manage Inter-Process Communication (IPC) between main and renderer processes

  • Utilize JavaScript , TypeScript , Next.js for full-stack development

  • Work with embedded databases like SQLite

  • Implement testing using Playwright and manage CI/CD pipelines

  • Ensure security with OAuth authentication & authorization

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving & communication

  • Experience with search features in desktop apps

  • Independent and self-driven

  • Quick learner with adaptability to new tech
