Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, hands-on experience with multiple ServiceNow modules, and the ability to lead development efforts, mentor junior developers, and drive platform optimization and best practices.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and configure custom applications and modules within the ServiceNow platform.

Implement and enhance ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, GRC, and other ServiceNow modules as per business requirements.

Create and maintain business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, workflows, Flow Designer, and integrations.

Lead ServiceNow upgrade and migration projects, ensuring platform stability and compliance with best practices.

Develop and maintain integration solutions using APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), MID Servers, and integration hubs.

Perform code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers and administrators.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimizing performance and scalability.

Ensure compliance with governance, security, and audit standards across the platform.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

8 12 years of IT experience with at least 6 years in ServiceNow development.

Strong expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Jelly, AngularJS, HTML, CSS).

Proven hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge, Request Management).

Experience implementing at least 2 3 advanced modules such as ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, SecOps, CSM, GRC, or Discovery.

Proficiency in integration development (REST, SOAP, LDAP, SSO, OAUTH, Active Directory).

Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and security model.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD practices for ServiceNow.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills in complex ServiceNow environments.
Preferred Qualifications

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) mandatory.

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and one or more Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications (ITSM, ITOM, HR, CSM, etc.).

Experience in ServiceNow Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, and Now Mobile.

Exposure to ServiceNow IRM, SecOps, or cloud-native integrations.

Strong domain knowledge in Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, or IT Services.
