About the Role

We’re seeking a senior Oracle EPM Functional Consultant to lead discovery, design, configuration, and rollout across multiple EPM Cloud modules. You’ll run workshops, partner with Oracle and internal stakeholders, integrate ERP data pipelines, and drive CRP/UAT/SIT through production cutover and hypercare.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead discovery & workshops: Elicit requirements, map current future state, conduct fit-gap, and define the module rollout roadmap by workstream.
  • Own solution design & configuration across EPM Cloud (focus on FCCS, ARCS, PBCS/EPBCS, TRCS; plus Task Manager, Data Management, Reports, and Smart View).
  • Build & govern data pipelines from ERP (Oracle Cloud ERP/EBS; SAP/others) to EPM using Data Management / Data Integration / Integration Agent / FDMEE (as applicable); define data mappings, period mappings, COA rollups, and validations.
  • Partner with Oracle/Presales & internal finance leads to scope and prioritize module streams and release plans.
  • Define testing strategy & lead cycles: author test scripts, run CRP, SIT, UAT, manage defects, and sign-off criteria.
  • Cutover planning & execution: environment migrations, data seeding, security, job schedules, production cutover checklist, and hypercare.
  • Financial consolidation (FCCS): consolidation methods, intercompany eliminations, ownership %, currency translation, close calendar, and Task Manager.
  • Account reconciliations (ARCS): reconciliation profiles/rules, auto-match/variance, workflow, and period close integration.
  • Planning (PBCS/EPBCS): model design (Financials/Workforce/CapEx/Projects), forms, rules (Calculation Manager/Groovy), approvals, and scenario/version management.
  • Tax reporting (TRCS): tax provision, deferred tax, data collection, and reporting alignment to statutory requirements.
  • Security & governance: artifacts migration (LCM), access controls, change control, documentation, and training.
  • Data quality & reconciliation: validate inbound/outbound feeds, build reconciliation reports between ERP EPM, and automate checks.
  • Required Qualifications
  • 8 12+ years in Oracle EPM/Hyperion; 3+ end-to-end EPM Cloud implementations leading FCCS/ARCS/PBCS/EPBCS/TRCS (at least two of these in depth).
  • Strong functional finance background (close, consolidation, FP&A) with hands-on configuration of the modules above.
  • Proven experience leading workshops/discovery , writing BRD/FD/RTM , and driving CRP, UAT, SIT, and cutover.
  • Data integration expertise using EPM Data Management / Data Integration / FDMEE / Integration Agent , EPM Automate, and REST APIs; comfortable with COA and metadata design.
  • Proficiency with Smart View , Reports/Management Reporting, task orchestration, and close governance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, crisp communication, and the ability to translate finance needs into scalable EPM designs.

Nice to Have

  • EDMCS (Enterprise Data Management) for master-data governance.
  • Narrative Reporting , PCMCS, or profitability modeling.
  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud ERP Financials and common source systems (GL/AP/AR/Projects).
  • Scripting/automation (shell/PowerShell), SQL for validation extracts, and CI/CD for artifacts.
  • Oracle certifications (EPM Cloud), SOX/controls experience, performance tuning.
