Position: Visual Annotation Expert

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $40/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment:10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided)

• Analyze short video clips and/or images to produce structured annotations that capture key details such as subjects, objects, environments, audio cues, temporal dynamics, mood, and storytelling elements.
• Apply judgment to decide which attributes best describe a scene and how to express subtle narrative or emotional cues.
• Provide clear documentation of findings, ensuring high-quality annotations to assist AI systems in understanding and interpreting complex visual and narrative information.
• Collaborate with project leads to ensure precision in following instructions and adapting to evolving project requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in media-related fields (e.g., movie producers, film editors, screenwriters, archivists, media analysts) or similar roles.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and document key visual and narrative elements.
• Ability to follow precise instructions and quickly adapt to new requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported).
