As a Bookkeeper / Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in our organization’s financial operations and office management while bringing expertise in sales and use tax.Key Responsibilities: Financial Management: Handle the processing of 400 checks and the generation of 2000 invoices per month, ensuring accuracy and complianceSales and Use Tax Expertise: Utilize your background in sales and use tax to ensure compliance and optimize tax-related processes.HR and Benefits: Manage open enrollment, HR onboarding, and termination paperwork, liaising with outsourced payroll and benefits providers.Multi-location Oversight: Oversee operations at the company’s nine locations, ensuring consistency and efficiency.External CPA Firm Liaison: Serve as a liaison with the external CPA firm to facilitate financial reporting and compliance.Supervise 2 accounting assistantsQualifications:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, office management, and sales and use tax.
  • Strong financial management skills, including experience with high check and invoice volumes.
  • HR and benefits administration knowledge is a preferred
  • Concur and Avalara Tax Software is a must
  • Quickbooks is a must
