Cloud Administrator
Responsibilities Our team has an immediate need for a Navy RMF SME to lead the accreditation effort to support the engineering, buildout and testing of a hybrid cloud environment utilizing the Navy Flank Speed Environment. Primary responsibilities include:
- Advice on best practices for the implementation of Cloud components, tools, dashboards, and automation
- Manage Azure virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and other Azure resources
- Configure and monitor Azure security features such as firewalls, network security groups, and Azure Active Directory
- Work with development teams to ensure proper application deployment and scaling in Azure
- Assist other SMEs in the preparation of Installation guides for an enterprise environment
- Experience working directly with Navy Flank Speed Environment
- Ability to manage Azure subscriptions and resources, implement and manage storage, deploy, and manage virtual machines, PaaS services, configure and manage virtual networks, and manage identities
- IT experience (8 years) including at least five (5) projects in technical areas included in the job description
- Experience working in a Hybrid Cloud environment preferred
- Must possess current IAT II or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M
- Must have or be able to get within 2 weeks of hire, an appropriate Computing Environment or vendor certification for associated communications equipment being supported in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or significant experience in lieu of, with the ability to obtain within first 2 weeks of employment
