We are seeking a highly experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer (8 years) to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role involves driving complex implementations, mentoring teams, and ensuring the platform aligns with organizational goals, scalability, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design, configuration, and customization of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, GRC).
  • Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing ServiceNow solutions.
  • Develop and enhance workflows, business rules, client/server scripts, integrations, and Service Portal components.
  • Manage integrations with enterprise systems (ERP, HR, Monitoring, Cloud, Security tools) using REST/SOAP APIs, JDBC, LDAP, SSO, and MID servers.
  • Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and IT leadership to gather requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure platform stability, governance, and compliance with coding standards and security guidelines.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews for junior/mid-level developers.
  • Oversee platform upgrades, migrations, and roadmap execution with minimal downtime.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, solution designs, and technical specifications.
  • Act as a ServiceNow SME to guide architecture, roadmap planning, and enterprise adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

  • 8 years of experience in ServiceNow development, with proven leadership in large-scale implementations.

  • Advanced expertise in:

  • ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog)

  • ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, Event Management, Orchestration)

  • HRSD, CSM, SecOps, GRC (at least 2 of these).

  • Strong skills in JavaScript, Glide API, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and server/client-side scripting.

  • Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Orchestration, and Service Portal.

  • Proven experience in enterprise system integrations (cloud, security, ERP, monitoring tools).

  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and their mapping into ServiceNow.

  • Certifications (preferred):

  • Certified System Administrator (CSA)

  • Certified Application Developer (CAD)

  • Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM/ITOM/HRSD/CSM)

  • Architect-level certifications are a strong plus.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Performance Analytics, SecOps, and Vulnerability Response.
  • Familiarity with cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Ability to lead Agile/Scrum-based development teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
