Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
Experience: 1-2 years of backend development experience
Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
Business knowledge of Financial Markets, and Back Office function
Strong Analytical, Problem-solving, and communication skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues under pressure
Decision making and ownership mindset
Team oriented, collaborative working style
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
Programming & Frameworks: Hibernate, Java EE
Databases: Oracle, Mongo DB
DevOps & Tools: JIRA, CI/CD tools
Messaging & Cloud: Kafka, ECS, Dockers, Kubernetes, OpenShift
Business knowledge: Exposure to financial markets / services domain
Overview:
This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting backend applications, with a strong focus on Java and microservices. You will contribute to system analysis, programming, troubleshooting, and implementation of solutions in coordination with the technology team
Job Duties:
Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Java and related technologies
Build and support microservices-based solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with business requirements
Perform application testing, debugging, and security/vulnerability assessments
Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver client-focused solutions
Provide technical support, resolve complex issues, and ensure smooth deployments
Operate with limited supervision, exercise independent judgment, mentor junior developers, and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team
