Desktop Migration Technician
Description
Our client is looking for 2 Technicians for a 12 month contract. These technicians will be responsible for re-imaging and migrating devices from Windows 10 to Windows 11, as well as transitioning from Microsoft Configuration Manager to Intune.
Ideal candidates will be proficient in:
Re-imaging operating systems from Windows 10 to Windows 11
Backing up user files to OneDrive
Educating team members on the changes and new features
Assisting users in accessing their previous data post-migration
Additionally, this technician may assist in other IT support actives as this team is responsible for day to day user requests, supporting other on-going projects and routine device maintenance / upkeep. The candidate must be reasonably adept in troubleshooting problems with some or all of these types of devices, communicating and following-up with end users of various levels within the organization, along with providing excellent customer service. This team will be supporting roughly 400 end users locally at Corporate HQ in addition to surrounding field offices (100 +).
Technologies:
o Windows 10 – Windows 11 environment.
Additionally, this resource will be working with:
o Microsoft Office 365 / Outlook / Microsoft Office / Word / Excel)
o Laser Jet Printers
o Label Printers
o Mobile Devices (MFA)
o This candidate will need basic Networking skills in order to effectively communicate connectivity with the Network team
o FreshWorks Ticketing System
Experience:
3+ years of experience of professional IT support experience

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $22.00/hr.
