Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is a dynamic leader responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base within a defined market segment. This role combines strategic planning, team development, and hands-on sales execution to exceed performance targets and foster a high-performing, engaged sales culture.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Execution

  • Collaborate with sales leadership to define and implement a market-specific demand generation strategy.
  • Drive revenue growth by expanding existing accounts and identifying new opportunities within the assigned customer segment.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Coach, train, and mentor a team of 6–12 sales representatives on outbound techniques, product positioning, and opportunity identification.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning to support individual growth and team success.
  • Lead recruiting, onboarding, and succession planning efforts to build a scalable, future-ready team.

Sales Operations & Enablement

  • Leverage performance data to guide daily activity metrics and optimize team productivity.
  • Utilize sales technology (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach) to scale outreach and enhance engagement.
  • Provide real-time feedback through call shadowing and deal support, including presentations and negotiations.

Culture & Collaboration

  • Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with HR and sales leadership to address performance and employee relations matters.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, embodying company values and mission in all interactions.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in sales management, ideally within a SaaS or payments environment.
  • 3+ years of successful sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
  • Strong coaching, motivational, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with consistent follow-through.

Desired Characteristics

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Outreach, and other CRM/sales enablement platforms.
  • Experience operating within a defined market segment in SaaS or payments.
  • Strong communication and forecasting skills with a strategic mindset.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel and work on weekends with short notice
  • Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.
  • This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
