ECS is seeking a Program Operations Manager – Cybersecurity to work remotely .
Overview
The Program Operations Manager will serve as a deputy to the Program Manager, providing direct oversight of day-to-day operations for a large federal cybersecurity program. This role ensures delivery performance, service level compliance, and coordination across technical and security operations teams. The Program Operations Manager acts as a central point for reporting, scheduling, and issue escalation, enabling the Program Manager to focus on strategic direction and stakeholder engagement.
Core Capabilities
- Delivery management and operations oversight across multi-disciplinary teams.
- SLA and KPI tracking with proactive reporting and escalation.
- Program coordination, scheduling, and resource alignment.
- Support for compliance and contractual deliverables.
- Strong communication and liaison skills with stakeholders, vendors, and federal partners.
Required Skills
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “L” clearance.
- Minimum 7 years of experience supporting federal cybersecurity or IT program delivery.
- Experience with SLA/KPI monitoring, reporting, and corrective action planning.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage daily operational issues across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Skills
- Prior experience supporting Department of Energy or DHS programs.
- Familiarity with ISCM/CDM program requirements.
- Knowledge of NIST RMF, FISMA, and federal cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
- PMP or other project/program management certification.
- Experience with financial tracking, procurement coordination, or resource planning.
