ECS is seeking a Program Operations Manager – Cybersecurity to work remotely .

Overview

The Program Operations Manager will serve as a deputy to the Program Manager, providing direct oversight of day-to-day operations for a large federal cybersecurity program. This role ensures delivery performance, service level compliance, and coordination across technical and security operations teams. The Program Operations Manager acts as a central point for reporting, scheduling, and issue escalation, enabling the Program Manager to focus on strategic direction and stakeholder engagement.

Core Capabilities

• Delivery management and operations oversight across multi-disciplinary teams.
• SLA and KPI tracking with proactive reporting and escalation.
• Program coordination, scheduling, and resource alignment.
• Support for compliance and contractual deliverables.
• Strong communication and liaison skills with stakeholders, vendors, and federal partners.

Required Skills

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “L” clearance.
• Minimum 7 years of experience supporting federal cybersecurity or IT program delivery.
• Experience with SLA/KPI monitoring, reporting, and corrective action planning.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage daily operational issues across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Skills

• Prior experience supporting Department of Energy or DHS programs.
• Familiarity with ISCM/CDM program requirements.
• Knowledge of NIST RMF, FISMA, and federal cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
• PMP or other project/program management certification.
• Experience with financial tracking, procurement coordination, or resource planning.
