Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – Missile System Design

Location: Chandler, AZ

About the Role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical Engineering team , contributing to the design and development of advanced missile systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies that shape the future of aerospace and defense.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design and analysis of complex structural components and systems for missile products.
• Use advanced CAD tools (preferably Siemens NX) and apply GD&T principles to ensure design precision.
• Adapt and improve upon legacy designs to meet current project requirements.
• Develop and execute test programs to evaluate system elements such as materials and structural components.
• Oversee test article fabrication and manage test activities, including documentation of results.
• Communicate technical findings and project status through reports and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and performance of mechanical systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with 2 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 1 year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 3-15 years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience, preferably in the aerospace domain.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with mechanical integration and testing in aerospace environments.
