Quality Control Manager

Insight Global is looking for a Quality Control Manager to join one of their federal contracting clients in Los Alamos, NM. The individual will be vital part in ensuring all aspects of the project meet the required standards/safety protocols and will be supporting a DOE program. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing QC programs, inspecting, and reviewing, monitoring materials, coordinating with stakeholders, documentation, develop and implement safety policies, incident investigation, emergency planning, and equipment safety training, and compliance. This is a fully onsite position — 5 days a week in Los Alamos, NM.

Additional Day to day responsibilities:

Create and maintain quality control standards for projects
Conduct inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations and project specifications
Ensure all materials meet required quality standards
Work closely with project managers, contractors, and engineers to address and resolve quality issues
Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities
Educate construction personnel on QC procedures and best practices
Ensure that all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations
Create and enforce health and safety policies in accordance with regulations
Perform regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
Lead safety training sessions for employees and managers to educate them on safety procedures and risks
Investigate accidents and unsafe conditions
Develop strategies to prevent future occurrences
Maintain detailed records of inspections, incidents, and safety measures
Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations
Develop and update emergency procedures and conduct drills
Oversee the safe installation and maintenance of equipment
