Project Architect
Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and motivated Project Architect / Designer to join our team in Raleigh. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of practical architectural experience and a strong interest in commercial, non-residential architecture.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to projects from the design phase through construction documentation while working alongside a collaborative production and project team.
Responsibilities
- Develop creative architectural designs and concepts
- Work independently as well as collaboratively with project teams
- Assist with Design Development and Construction Documents
- Work closely with production teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate with consultants and other project team members
- Apply knowledge of building codes and architectural standards
- Develop and refine architectural drawings and documentation
- Contribute to the overall design quality and execution of projects
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of practical architectural experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Experience in commercial/non-residential architecture
- Strong design and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience with Design Development and Construction Documents
- Experience with Revit
- Experience with SketchUp or other architectural design software
- Knowledge of building codes
- Experience with consultant coordination
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed Architect
- Additional experience with architectural design and visualization software
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design abilities and project experience
