Residential DSP Tues. – Thurs. with Sun. in Waldorf, MD

Job Summary Bay CSS is looking for a dedicated Residential Direct Support Professional DSP to join our team in Waldorf MD This role involves supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting during the following schedule Tuesdays to Thursdays from 2pm to 10pm and Sundays from 8am to 2pm Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred Valid drivers license with reliable transportation and car insurance Must pass a background check Ability to lift at least 50lbs Completion of all required trainings within the allotted timeframe Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and follow directions Compassionate and patient demeanor Responsibilities Assist residents with daily tasks including meal preparation personal hygiene and household chores Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals in the program Implement individualized care plans and behavior support strategies Maintain a clean and safe living environment Document and report any significant changes or incidents to supervisors Compensation Hourly rate 21hr Monday to Friday with a 2 shift differential on Saturdays and Sundays If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and meet the requirements listed above we invite you to apply for the Residential DSP position in Waldorf MD
