Our client, a global media company, is looking for a Residual Reporting Analyst to join their team! This will be a fully remote role, but candidates must work during pacific time-zone hours. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to work cross-fictionally across departments, and have prior experience working in the entertainment/media industry. Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.

Role Overview:

  • Contract Role: 3 months
  • Pay: $26-$28/hr on W2
  • Schedule: Fully remote, 40-hour workweek, 8AM to 5PM PST

Responsibilities:

  • Process residuals payments as per contractual reporting and guild obligations
  • Investigate and resolve issues impacting the contractual reporting and guild obligations
  • Acquire production documents for set-up of residuals payments (final payroll cast lists, DGA deal memos, Exhibit G’s, etc.)
  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external contacts
  • Maintain knowledge of industry standards, requirements, and union/guild provisions

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • 1+ year of residual payment processing experience
  • Experience working in the media/entertainment/content production industry
  • Knowledge of timekeeping and contractual reporting/guild operations is required
  • Comfortable reading and understating contracts and collective bargaining agreements
  • Strong Excel skills
