About The Role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Care Representative to join our dynamic team at the Patterson, NY corporate office. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between our customers, sales team, and internal operations, ensuring seamless order processing and exceptional customer service. The Customer Care Representative will be responsible for managing customer requirements, processing sales and sample orders, and coordinating logistics to ensure timely delivery and product availability. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, and are committed to maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. The role reports directly to the Director of Customer Care and plays a key part in supporting our company’s mission to deliver outstanding service and solutions to our global clientele.

Qualifications Ideal candidates will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both internal teams and external customers. Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is essential. A minimum of a 2-year Associate Degree is preferred, along with 1-3 years of experience in customer service or a related field. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently are crucial. Candidates must demonstrate the capability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while delivering exemplary customer service. Additionally, the role requires physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and excellent listening and speaking skills to communicate clearly over the phone and in person.

Responsibilities The Customer Care Representative will be responsible for processing customer orders and sample requests promptly, ensuring compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The role involves managing customer requirements, coordinating with outside warehouses to ensure accurate inventory levels, and facilitating on-time order fulfillment for both domestic and international clients. The incumbent will need to understand delivery terms and logistical planning to optimize supply chain efficiency. Responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner, resolving critical issues swiftly, and supporting the sales team with forecasting and sales reporting are key aspects of the role. Additionally, the representative will assist in resolving customer complaints, collecting overdue payments, and maintaining overall customer satisfaction. The position also requires maintaining compliance with all company policies and procedures and performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor to support operational excellence.
