Java Automation Tester || Charlotte, NC || Contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester with strong experience in test automation frameworks, API testing, and web services validation. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently on complex automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and services.
• Contribute to test planning, test execution, and defect reporting processes.
• Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and drive them to resolution.
• Continuously enhance automation suites and adopt new tools/technologies as needed.

Must-Have Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in automation testing.

5+ years of hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG.

5+ years of strong Core Java / J2EE programming skills.

4+ years of API automation testing experience (REST and SOAP Webservices).

3+ years of automation experience using Playwright.

3+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries.

Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks.

Ability to work independently and quickly learn new technologies as needed.
