Job Title: PMO Data Analytics

Location: Maplewood, MN Hybrid

Duration: 4 Months – May extend beyond the end of the year

Description:

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program & Project Leader to establish and lead the Project Management Office (PMO) for our Data Analytics organization.
  • This role will be pivotal in driving the strategic direction and execution of project management practices across the organization. The ideal candidate will also assume responsibilities as the Chief Product Officer (CPO) for Data Analytics, ensuring representation and alignment with the IT organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead the PMO, developing and implementing project management standards, processes, and tools.
  • Oversee the portfolio of projects, ensuring they align with strategic goals and deliver value to the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and resource allocation.
  • Act as the Chief Product Officer (CPO) for Data Analytics, driving overall DA product alignement and participating in the IT governance process.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in project and product management.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and product teams.

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on aligning projects and products with business objectives.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in establishing and leading a PMO/Significant Programs in a complex organization.
  • Experience in data analytics or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience as a project manager, with a track record of successful project portfolio design and execution.

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • A Master s degree or MBA is preferred.
