About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our data-driven team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform) , big data ecosystems , and modern data engineering tools. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, enabling advanced analytics and AI/ML capabilities across diverse domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using tools like Databricks , Apache Spark , and Hadoop.
- Develop and maintain data lake and warehouse architectures using Snowflake , Azure Synapse , and BigQuery.
- Integrate structured and unstructured data from various sources to support AI/ML models, business intelligence, and analytics.
- Write efficient, scalable code in Python using libraries such as Pandas , NumPy , and PySpark.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver high-quality datasets for modeling and reporting.
- Implement and manage data governance , security , and compliance standards across platforms.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau , Power BI , and SQL.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives across Azure and Google Cloud Platform environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 12 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in Python , SQL , and data manipulation libraries.
- Hands-on experience with Azure , Google Cloud Platform , Snowflake , Databricks , and Apache Hadoop ecosystem.
- Experience with AI/ML data preparation, feature engineering, and model deployment support.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience with Apache Kafka , Airflow, or other orchestration tools.
- Solid understanding of data architecture , data modeling , and data governance.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with MLflow , TensorFlow , or Scikit-learn for AI/ML workflows.
- Certifications in Azure Data Engineer , Google Cloud Data Engineer , or Snowflake.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
