This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize DSP algorithms for undersea sensor platformsIntegrate DSP software with embedded systems in collaboration with hardware and software teamsPerform performance analysis and algorithm tuning for reliability in harsh undersea environmentsCreate and maintain technical documentation for DSP algorithms and softwareLead design/code reviews, participate in testing cycles, and mentor junior engineersTroubleshoot and resolve DSP-related issues in deployed systemsMonitor industry trends and incorporate cutting-edge DSP technologies for undersea sensingQualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field (Master’s preferred)Active DoD Secret security clearance5+ years of DSP software development (3+ with Master’s)Strong proficiency in C/C++Experience with DSP algorithm design, development, and optimization for undersea or sonar systemsProficiency with MATLAB for algorithm modeling and simulationFamiliarity with DSP hardware architectures and signal processing theoryKnowledge of underwater acoustics and sonar system designPreferred Qualifications: Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS) and embedded software developmentHands-on work with submarine or surface ship sonar systemsApplication of AI/ML techniques to DSP signal classification or detectionExperience in oceanographic data modeling or analysisFamiliarity with Agile development methodologiesMoseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.Still have questions?
