GIS Enterprise Architect
Role Overview:
The Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex GIS and IT-related projects for the City of Pittsburgh. This role ensures timely and high-quality execution across multi-disciplinary teams including GIS specialists, IT staff, vendors, and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end lifecycle of projects: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

Align project goals with City priorities, compliance regulations, and departmental objectives.

Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors.

Manage project scope, timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies.

Prepare project charters, reports, and documentation for city leadership.

Facilitate stakeholder meetings, updates, and progress reviews.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Information Systems, or related field.

5+ years of project management experience in IT or GIS domains.

Proven success managing cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.

PMP certification preferred.

Familiarity with municipal operations is a plus.
