Requirements
Must have:
– Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of Information Technology experience. – 3-4 years of experience working with Workday, including configuration and customization. – Background in design and coding. – Strong technical knowledge of Workday, including report writing, calculated fields, business process configuration, and security. – Proven experience in system analysis, design, and implementation within the Workday platform. – Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions. – Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment. – Proficiency in using JIRA or similar project management tools to track tasks and issues. – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and configure Workday solutions to meet business requirements, including customizations, integrations, and reporting in an out of the box way. – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations. – Stay up-to-date with Workday updates, new features, and best practices to provide guidance and recommendations for system optimization. – Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-up meetings. – Utilize Java, SQL, MuleSoft, and other integration tools to track and manage project tasks, issues, and deliverables. – Contribute to the development and maintenance of system documentation, including user guides, process flows, and technical specifications.

We are hiring a Workday Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing our financial systems within the Workday platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and other stakeholders, you will gather requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions. Your solid understanding of Workday Finance or HR technical knowledge, design experience, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with agile methodologies and JIRA will be crucial. As a Workday Developer, you will design, code, and configure Workday solutions to meet business requirements, including customizations, integrations, and reporting. This is a full-time position with a pay range of $45.00 – $52.00 per hour. We offer benefits such as 401(k), dental insurance, and health insurance. The work schedule is Monday to Friday. The work location is hybrid remote in Richardson, TX 75082.
