I am seeking a Systems Engineer with strong experience in developing and managing environments utilizing Azure, AVS, and hybrid cloud infrastructure. Candidates should possess expertise in Microsoft LogicMonitor for observability and monitoring, along with a working knowledge of Dynatrace. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Azure DevOps, and Power Platform is essential. Hands-on experience with Rubrik for backup and recovery is required, alongside a solid understanding of SQL Server and test data management practices. Familiarity with Splunk (limited usage) and the evaluation of observability platforms is preferred. Knowledge of data masking, personally identifiable information (PII) handling, and audit logging practices is necessary. The ability to collaborate across teams and manage environment lifecycle processes is critical.

Responsibilities:

In this role, I will expect you to build and maintain environments for Development, Testing, Staging, and Sandbox using Terraform and Azure DevOps. You will implement and manage test data gold copy strategies utilizing Rubrik, Azure Blob Storage, and automated pipelines, while enforcing naming conventions and role-based access control (RBAC) policies through Azure Policy. Automating backup and restoration processes for SQL Server databases and VMs with Rubrik and Terraform will be part of your duties. You will support disaster recovery planning and execution, including conducting annual disaster recovery tests. Additionally, monitoring infrastructure, integrations, and batch jobs will be required using Microsoft LogicMonitor and Dynatrace. You will also need to collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with data masking, logging, and audit requirements. Maintaining environment isolation and approval workflows for provisioning and decommissioning will be crucial, along with assisting in the transition from Microsoft Dynamics AX to Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations.
