Lead Business Analyst – Credit Risk
Requirements
Must have:
– We require 5-7 years of experience in consulting, business and operational strategy, planning and analysis, with demonstrable experience leading and executing projects or programs through complete lifecycle phases. – Advanced written and verbal communication skills are essential, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience. – A thorough understanding of business area/specialization is a must. – Proficiency in data querying, reporting, forecasting, analysis, and operations research is necessary. – Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required. – Advanced problem resolution skills, including the capacity to determine root cause, scope, and scale of issues are essential. – Effective skills in word processing and spreadsheet software are necessary. – Proven project management expertise to lead medium to large scope initiatives, working effectively with diverse internal and external contacts is needed. – A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Quantitative Finance, Economics, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Physical Sciences is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- I will lead multiple analytics programs and initiatives throughout the entire project lifecycle using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies—from planning and design to testing, implementation, and delivery—ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and deliverables. – I will proactively manage risks, issues, and changes by collaborating with business and analytics teams to guide development teams, data stewards, and other project stakeholders in resolving defects, communicating impacts, and maintaining alignment through structured updates and expectation-setting to sustain project momentum. – I will translate business requirements into technical specifications for data and analytics teams and simplify complex quantitative analyses into straightforward, structured narratives for non-technical business stakeholders. – I will evaluate business data and perform analyses to identify challenges and opportunities, interpreting solutions to complex business problems using quantitative analysis methodologies for data, cost and benefit, and/or process measurement analysis. – I will collaborate across business, data, and analytics teams to facilitate the development of advanced statistical models and forecasting techniques that predict future business performance and guide strategic decision-making. – I will contribute to and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships with key stakeholders and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. – I will assess requirements for internal business processes, ensuring integration across teams and business units in alignment with organizational strategic goals. – I will leverage my comprehensive knowledge of the company’s internal operations to foster a forward-looking focus in our business strategies.
