We are looking for a candidate who meets the following qualifications: – A minimum of 1 year of experience with AI systems, Prompt Engineering, or Natural Language Processing. – A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline. – Demonstrated expertise in Prompt Engineering for large language models. – Proficient in using Docker and Containerization technologies. – A basic understanding of legal terminology and processes. – Strong ethical judgment regarding AI implementation and data privacy. – Ability to craft effective prompts for AI systems to yield desired results. – Excellent writing and communication skills. – Experience in project planning and management. – A problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
In this role, I will be responsible for: – Developing, testing, and refining prompts for AI chatbots to ensure they deliver accurate, helpful, and ethical responses in legal contexts. – Managing existing AI chatbots, monitoring their performance, and implementing enhancements. – Documenting strategies, templates, and best practices for AI prompting. – Running and maintaining open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) in local environments using Docker. – Developing and testing AI solutions that address business needs. – Implementing safeguards to ensure client confidentiality and data security. – Collaborating with staff to comprehend their needs and translate them into effective AI solutions. – Training and guiding staff on using AI prompts in a safe, ethical, and policy-compliant manner. – Training and assisting non-technical staff on the effective use of AI systems. – Evaluating AI model outputs for accuracy, bias, and alignment with our mission and values.
Company:
We offer a part-time opportunity for an AI Engineer at our nonprofit organization located in New York City. The schedule involves 20 hours per week with availability required between 9 am to 5 pm EST. This position allows for remote work; however, we prefer local candidates in NYC for occasional onsite meetings with the team. Please note that we will not consider third-party applications.
