We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications: – A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or in lieu of a degree, a High School Diploma or GED accompanied by four (4) years of relevant work experience. – A minimum of 10 years of prior experience within the field, beyond the educational qualifications. – Significant understanding of project and change management concerning acquisition and development life cycles. – Expertise in systems development, implementation, upgrades, and analyses. – Familiarity with quality assurance testing, unified business modeling, system design, and analysis. – In-depth knowledge of enterprise coding standards and hands-on experience in crafting complex code. – Proficiency in leading group discussions to reach consensus, solve technical challenges, and achieve goals. – Proven ability to mentor and educate less experienced colleagues. – Strong interpersonal and communication skills, in both written and verbal forms. – Capacity to manage multiple tasks, adhere to deadlines, and thrive in a dynamic environment. – Flexibility and enthusiasm for undertaking a range of challenging assignments.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will: – Architect Salesforce.com solutions from the outset. – Design, develop, test, document, and implement high-quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform, proactively meeting industry best practices and business needs. – Lead and supervise design/coding sessions, culminating in innovative solutions. – Clearly explain Salesforce.com application designs and address any technical or design conflicts that emerge. – Demonstrate expertise across various Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Force.com, Chatter, and AppExchange applications. – Utilize Salesforce core languages: Apex (including triggers, classes, and web services), Visualforce (pages and components), Lightning components, and SOQL. – Engage in Visualforce, Lightning/Communities, APEX coding, Process Builder, Triggers, Workflows, Flows, CSS, HTML, Templates, Custom coding, and Web Services. – Develop Lightning applications utilizing design components, the Aura Framework, JavaScript, and server-side elements. – Integrate Salesforce.com with other applications through real-time, batch, and sync/async methods. – Use web-based technologies (SOAP, REST) and middleware tools like MuleSoft and Webmethods for integration. – Mentor team members and support their professional growth.

As a Principal Salesforce Engineer, you will be recognized organization-wide for your functional expertise and will contribute significantly by enhancing our Salesforce ecosystem through robust technical designs, development, coding, testing, and debugging. You will carry out intricate business process analyses and assessments, leading design sessions with architects to align IT solutions with our business goals. Additionally, you should have hands-on experience in JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS or React, and familiarity with developing for Salesforce Communities and the Lightning App Builder. Experience with tools like Visual Studio Code IDE, GitHub, Jira, and familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum) is beneficial. This position offers a six-month contract-to-hire and is compensated at a rate of $73 to $77 per hour, contingent upon experience, with an expected work commitment of 40 hours per week. We also provide a hybrid work arrangement based in Houston, Texas, with onsite work required Monday through Thursday and the option for remote work on Fridays. Compensation package includes dental, health, and vision insurance.
