Requirements

Must have:

– Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science. – Education Substitute: Associate degree with 2+ years of job-related experience or High School Diploma with 4+ years of job-related experience. – Help desk experience: 1 year (Preferred) – Windows experience: 1 year (Preferred) – Location: Must be able to commute to Frankfort, KY 40601 and relocate before starting work.

Responsibilities:

  • Support agency hardware, systems software, and applications software portfolio. – Maintain data dictionaries, equipment and software installation and upgrades, data conversions, system utilities, and change control. – Identify and troubleshoot defective equipment and software/application issues. – Resolve hardware issues prior to deployment. – Coordenate problem resolution and referrals to other support areas.

I am seeking a Technology Support Specialist for a 1-year contract position in Frankfort, Kentucky. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This full-time position offers a pay rate of $18.00 – $20.00 per hour with expected hours of 40 per week. Benefits include 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance. The work schedule is Monday to Friday with on-call availability.
