Job Description: Role Summary/Purpose: The Senior Specialist, Recovery Operations non-exempt role responsible for oversight and daily management of remarketing accounts and processes as assigned. The Senior Specialist of Remarketing will Identify process change improvement opportunities and assist with escalated system, process and customer issues.Essential Responsibilities: Provide oversight and daily management of remarketing accountsServe as a subject matter expert to be able assist when coverage is neededManage repossessed assets by working with auctions and transporters to sell at maximum valueManage inventory, Days to sell, NADA recovery percentage & loss severity, quality, and phone metricsEnsure compliance with federal and state regulationsEnsure compliance with internal policies and proceduresPartner with supplier’s agents and auction transporters to ensure collateral is moved quickly and efficientlyWork with surveillance manager to ensure supplier is compliantWork with other members of team, sharing ideas and facilitating the exchange of best practicesDrive a “Great Place to Work” culturePerform others duties and/or special projects as assignedThis is an on-site essential roleQualifications/Requirements: Minimum 1 year Collections, Operations, Fraud or Recovery operations experienceMinimum 1 year of experience in liaison support, analysis, reporting/documentation and/or project support.Work experience with Microsoft Office programsThis role supports an essential onsite process and requires the flexibility to work in the office dailyDesired Characteristics: Must be flexible to come on site to perform essential roleProven ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate initiative in completing projectsStrong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills at all organization layersPossess or be willing to obtain Florida Notary PublicExcellent organization, prioritization, problem solving, negotiation, and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervisionDemonstrated ability to implement new procedures/programsKnowledge of collection policies, techniques, and practicesTrack record of sound decision-makingSelf-motivated and strong organizational skillsProficient PC Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Grade/Level: 07The hourly rate range for this position is $24.50 – $34.00/hr USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience or skill level.Eligibility Requirements: You must be 18 years or olderYou must have a high school diploma or equivalentYou must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding processYou must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
