We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities. This company is hiring Truss Assemblers on the 1st and 2nd shifts. Compensation for these temp opportunities ranges between $22.25-$29.37 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? Read below for more information!What you will do as a Truss Assembler:

  • Pick connector plates according to job order (quantity and size specifications)
  • Lift and lay out lumber onto build table
  • Nail jig blocks to table and hammer in connector plates
  • Pry finished trusses out of the jig, stack trusses, and remove jib blocks
  • Unload, label, and band the trusses

What you need to be a Truss Assembler:

  • Ability to perform in a physically demanding job that requires bending, stooping, twisting, lifting above shoulders, reaching, squatting, and kneeling regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds several times per day, with lighter weights more frequently, and heavier weights less frequently, with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Must be able to understand measurements
