Join us, and let’s improve lives together.Essential Functions: Develops and implements a comprehensive data-driven sales strategy for Key Distribution Partner (KDP) relationships, in collaboration with Sales and Underwriting leadership as well as the Strategic Leadership Team (SLT), to cultivate and manage relationships and drive performance and top-line growthDrives the consistent building and nurturing of targeted and coordinated partnerships with key executives and other identified leaders of national and other large agencies and brokers. Ensures regional field and other commercial lines leadership is involved in relationship building as appropriateEnhances EMC’s external profile and market position through active, prioritized engagement with KDPs, including alignment of people and dollar resources to jointly meet KDP and EMC needsLeads and facilitates high-level relationship management activities with targeted agency partners that enable mutually beneficial profitable growth opportunities for long-term successIn close collaboration with the leaders of Sales Enablement and Marketing Communications, develops and supports market initiatives, product offerings, and enterprise-wide activities to promote EMC with KDPsCollaborates with Regional Vice Presidents to ensure that KDP national strategies are broken down appropriately across the regions to ensure ultimate alignment with overall strategyIn collaboration with the Agency Compensation & Contracts Director and FP&A, develops and manages ideas related to KDP compensation, contingent commissions, supplemental, commission schedules, deals, and overrides to maximize revenue potentialDevelops and implements comprehensive data, reporting, and related communication strategies to support monthly and quarterly internal/external reviews, guiding agency reviews, strategy, and action planning across senior leaders and field leadershipRegularly monitors results and agency plans, analyzing production and experience metrics to identify positive or negative trendsProvides subject matter expertise on the dynamics impacting large partnerships and collaborates across regions to integrate data-driven insights into strategic decision-makingActively oversees, participates in, and attends industry and association events such as National Big I, Insurance Network Alliance (INA), Keystone, CAA, Leavitt conferences, KDP agency events, and CIABRemains up to date regarding industry trends, mergers and acquisitions, and potential impact on EMC business. Communicates insights to EMC leadership, including potential action plans to mitigate impactsPartners with event managers, sales enablement, and MarCom on event and sponsorship opportunities and strategies that align business objectives and maximize our ability to drive profitable growth and strengthen agency relationshipsBuilds One EMC team culture in alignment with EMC values to drive team engagement and resultsSupports diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, including supporting new ideas and providing guidance on potential changesManages budgeted resources by anticipating expenditures, accurately forecasting resource needs/costs and properly accounting for expenses to meet requirements and achieve fiscal responsibilityEducation & Experience: The education and experience below are required for the job unless labelled as preferred:Bachelor’s degree preferably in finance, marketing, or business or equivalent relevant experienceTen years of experience in property and casualty insurance sales, underwriting, or agency management or related experienceInsurance designations, such as CPCU or CIC preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities: The knowledge, skills and abilities below are required for the job unless labelled as preferred:Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form, with all levels of managementAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projectsExceptional skills to build consensus across areas of influence (external and/or internal relationships)Extensive knowledge of property and casualty distribution and trends, with a strong record of agency relationshipsAdvanced level knowledge of the insurance industry, its products, and servicesExceptional ability to cultivate and build relationshipsProven ability to utilize effective negotiation tacticsAbility to use creativity and intuitiveness in resolving unique and challenging business issuesStrong leadership and management skills with an ability to drive changeAbility to drive results by identifying and resolving significant problems within the scope of responsibility and influence upward and downwardAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related softwarePlease note: The hiring salary range for this position will vary based on geographic location, falling within $118,603 – $170,000 or $130,774 – $187,434 range. A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range.
