digital presence a modern digital banking and data platform backed by robust core integrations and cloud first infrastructure This isnt a maintenance role Youll be one of the first senior engineers on the team writing production code every day while helping lay the technical foundation for everything we build Because were early youll have a genuine seat at the table on technology choices such as the stack patterns and tooling Were looking for someone who takes that responsibility seriously an engineer who is deeply hands on with real banking or fintech experience and who is ready to grow into a technical anchor for the team as we hire and scale What Youll DoDesign build and ship features across our digital banking platform full stack from backend services and APIs through to customer facing interfacesHelp shape and document the technology decisions that define how we build language and framework choices architecture patterns data modeling and integration approachesIntegrate with banking cores payment rails ACH wire real time payments and third party fintech partnersOwn your work end to end requirements design implementation testing deployment and production supportWrite clean well tested reviewable code and hold the same standard for your teammates through thoughtful code reviewContribute to CICD pipeline health and cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code practicesMentor and support engineers as the team scales through code review pairing and leading by exampleCollaborate directly with product compliance and operations stakeholders to turn requirements into well designed auditable systemsThis position does not include supervisory responsibilities What Were Looking ForRequired6 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong full stack background solid on the backend capable on the front endDemonstrated experience in banking payments or regulated fintech such as core banking integrations payment rails or compliance aware systemsSolid understanding of microservices architecture API design REST andor gRPC and event driven patternsCloud platform experience AWS Azure or GCP including deploying and operating services in productionFamiliarity with CICD pipelines and infrastructure as code practicesRelational database proficiency schema design query optimization and data modelingTrack record of writing well tested maintainable code and conducting meaningful code reviewsClear communicator who is able to work directly with product and non technical stakeholders and to make and defend technical trade offsComfortable operating with ambiguity and ownership in an early stage environment where not every decision has been made yet Education RequirementsBachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Computer Engineering or a related engineeringtechnical discipline requiredPreferred Skills & Experience Experience with ISO 20022 ACH wire transfers or real time payment systemsBanking core integration experienceBatch and ETL processing experience in a financial data contextContainer orchestration experience Kubernetes or similarExperience across multiple persistence patterns relational NoSQL document key value and analyticalwarehouse storesPrior involvement in greenfield projects where youve contributed to foundational technology decisionsFamiliarity with AILLM developer tooling or agent assisted development workflows Working Conditions This position may be hybrid or fully remote Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required during critical implementations
