Job Description: Overview $3,000 Sign on Bonus!At Good Shepherd Hospice, our organization promotes the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being both of the person completing life’s journey and their family members by providing comprehensive and compassionate end-of-life care of the highest quality.We are looking for a compassionate LPN with the “Hospice Heart” to join our care team who are committed to providing both medical and emotional support to patients and families.

  • 5x 8 hour shifts (8:30AM to 4:30PM) – Rotating Weekends

Job Details Our Community Hospice LPN’s:

  • Work under the supervision and assignment of the registered nurse to provide top-notch care to hospice patients and their families within a home setting.

  • Communicate status of patient to team

  • Help patient manage pain and end of life symptoms

  • Experience in home care, skilled nursing facilities and/or oncology preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one to two years prior bedside nursing experience required
  • Current and valid NY State license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Must have a current, valid New York State driver’s license and own transportation
  • Experience in home care, skilled nursing facilities

Salary Range USD $32.00 – USD $40.00 /Hr.This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
