This position acts as liaison with DHS, Conferencing Contractor, Diakon-SWAN and Voce to effectively assist with the programmatic support to the Pennsylvania Annual Conference, Statewide and Quarterly meetings. The position is responsible to oversee adherence to training policies, procedures, best practices, and budgetary requirements.Schedule: Full Time, Exempt position works a minimum of 8 hours between 8 AM — 5 PM. This includes a 30-minute paid lunch.What You Will Contribute

  • Manage and supervise assigned staff, including adherence to personnel policies and procedures.
  • Oversee development of policies, procedures, catalogs, forms and manuals around training logistics and best practice.
  • Coordinates programming and organizing Diakon-Voce staff participation in the Pennsylvania Annual Conference, Statewide, and Quarterly Meetings.
  • Identify qualified facilitators, trainers, proctors and other staff to support programming to ensure best practice standards are met at events the Pennsylvania Annual Conference, Statewide, and Quarterly Meetings.
  • Collaborates with the Training Specialists, Legal training Division, Practice and HR surrounding training needs and innovations, including e-learning, online training, and learning management system (LMS).
  • Oversee the evaluation process for internal and external requested trainings.
  • Collaborate directly with Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Children Youth and Families (OCYF), Child Welfare Resource Center (CWRC) leadership and managers to meet deliverables and unique contract or state needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What It Takes To Succeed

  • Master’s degree in marketing, business administration, event planning or related field and three years’ experience or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, event planning or related field and five years’ experience.
  • Two years of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities in meeting planning and meeting marketing, including the preparation of promotional materials.
  • Advanced proficiency with computers, technical skills related to audio visual needs, development software and learning management systems.
  • This position requires travel to and from the Voce home office and throughout the state as needed.
  • A valid driver’s license.
