Role Overview

We’re seeking a Senior AI Systems Engineer with strong expertise in Rails and deep experience with LLMs to design, build, and scale advanced AI-powered systems. From agentic workflows and multi-agent orchestration to RAG pipelines and voice-based learning agents, you’ll have end-to-end ownership and the opportunity to shape impactful enterprise-grade solutions from day one.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement LLM-powered agentic workflows for real-world task execution.
• Build organization-specific customization layers and AI safety systems.
• Develop voice- and message-based AI learning agents.
• Architect and maintain RAG, vector search, and evaluation pipelines.
• Collaborate with founders, engineers, and clients to shape product direction.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of experience in Machine Learning (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• 2 years of experience with LLMs (Hugging Face, OpenAI, Anthropic).
• Expert-level Rails engineer (REST APIs, PostgreSQL, ActiveRecord, RSpec).
• Proven track record of building and deploying production AI systems.
• Familiar with LangChain / LlamaIndex (or able to ramp quickly).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
