Job Title: Senior Accountant (Contract)
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid — 4 days remote, 1 day on-site)

Pay: $35–$45 per hour

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to support a mission-driven organization during a key transition period. • Manage general ledger entries and reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in accounting roles with strong tenure
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Bill.com preferred (other ERP systems considered)
• Experience in nonprofit accounting is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
